2 days: Leaving the NICU

Dear Coby,


Today was an exciting day for us! In the morning, I went to the NICU to visit with you.  The nurse told me that they were waiting for the doctor to let us know if you could be release from the NICU.  You had eaten some formula, about 5 ccs and they had removed your IV.  I was so excited! I was resting n my room when I heard a knock and in you came, pushed by the NICU nurse.  I was so excited to see you, I picked you up even though you were sleeping.

Soon, we were visited by Nana.  She was so excited to finally get to hold you!  You were so tiny.  She didn't want to give you back to me! 

Then, your brother Ari came to meet you for the first time.  He was nervous to meet you.  He was also  very shy and was scared to touch you because you were so small.

He helped me feed you your bottle.  You are very lucky to have such a great big brother!

I think you loved having all the attention!
